RULES AND GUIDELINES

Be courteous and kind to one another, were all hosting each other and everything done here is done by volunteers. Its a group effort and any help in the kitchen, meal stations, and clean up after is greatly appreciated.

By the standards of marijuana laws in the United States, the answer is pretty simple: it is illegal to use cannabis in a national park. This is the case even if the land is in a state where medical/recreational/adult-use marijuana is permitted.
The reason for this is because national parks are federally owned. Therefore, state laws no longer apply.
Please don't think you can do it in your cabin. If they can smell it, and you know you can after doing it in your cabin all weekend, they may not allow us back. Immediately upon check out we have an inspection.

We already have one warning from the state park because a hiker was passing through and reported someone smoking it.  Boo I know. I'm sorry even though the  organizers are cannabis friendly THE STATE PARK IS NOT. Anyone blatantly doing it in public puts the whole event at risk of shutting down and will not be permitted back for we will not have a home to host the event.

BE AWARE WE CONSTANTLY HAVE HIKERS WALKING TO AND FROM TRAILS AROUND AND THROUGH OUR GROUP CAMP.

AGE RESTRICTION
  • We observe Beltane as a holiday focused, at least in part, on the sexual union of God and Goddess.  Adult themes will be discussed, and rituals and workshops will have adult content.  Because of this, everyone attending Oklahoma Beltane must be 18 years of age or older.

RULES OUTSIDE APPLY INSIDE
  • The laws on the outside apply to the inside.  We still have to obey the laws of the muggles and mundane.

FIRE CIRCLE
  • The Fire Tenders are here to provide you with a safe, enjoyable fire. Please don’t interfere with them as they tend the fire. Be respectful of them, obey their instructions immediately and politely and don’t interfere with them as they tend the fire.
  • Be aware of the people sharing the fire with you. The Fire Tenders may ask you to make room for dancers or drummers - please be respectful of them and do as they ask.
  • If you would like to make an offering to the fire ask the Fire Tenders first. Items that may be burned must be organic and burn cleanly. Paper, wooden items, small cloth bags, etc. are good examples. Cigarette butts, aluminum cans, glass bottle and other trash are not. The Fire Tenders have the final say as to what may be burned and if they say ‘No’ please be respectful of their decision.

CABINS
  • Cabin and Lodge residents are responsible for making sure that their floors are swept, all rooms are clean, and all trash is removed to a designated trash dumping site before leaving. Absolutely no cooking inside the cabins.  Smoking, burning of incense and/or candles is prohibited
  • .They are bunk style beds that many couples often pull together to make a full bed. Please be aware of others who are sharing a cabin with you who may not be comfortable with the bunks pulled together and sleeping next to someone. Any room mate requests are filled to the best of our ability.
  • Osage State Park is very particular about the state cabins are left in.  Please don't leave the cleanliness of your cabin up to the festival organizers after you've gone.  Please leave the cabin in as good a state (or better) than you found it.

CAMERAS
  • Wristbands indicate that someone does not wish to be photographed.
  • Every recognizable person in the photo or viewfinder must be checked and double-checked for wristbands; Once when you're taking the photo, and again before you post it anywhere.
